Dark Bright EP Release Party

Dark Bright is a new band pioneered by Northern California based Kirana Peyton and Joni Davis. Two voices, electric guitar and keyboards create an atmosphere of hard edges and beauty. Their combined musical histories include national and international touring as well as recording and self releasing solo works. Notable performances include Glastonbury Music Festival, Austin City Limits, and The Great American Music Hall. Each have opened for esteemed artists such as Nick Cave’s Grinderman, Les Claypool, Aimee Mann, and Deerhoof.

Dark Bright are currently playing out and rejoicing in their mutual love of distorted guitars, analogue synths and dark chocolate.

Skip & Spike CD Release Party

CD Release Party for Skip Heller & Spike Sikes Sacramento

LA-based guitarist/singer-songwriter Skip Heller has teamed up with Sonoma County’s Spike Sikes on Wurlitzer & vocals for a stripped-down new disc entitled “Sacramento.” Featuring originals by both of them, as well as a deep cut by John Hartford, the duo explores American roots music, blues, jazz, country, and soul. They pay tribute to their musical heroes (everyone from Louis Armstrong to Willie Nelson) sounding like old friends trading stories about riverboats.
