Some of you may know that I have recently closed my recording studio, Jackalope Records.
It was a decision that I was happy to make, but I must admit that I get sentimental when I
think back on some of the great music that we documented over the last dozen or so years.
My last project turned out to be the new CD by The Orchid Killers.
It should have been a quick recording thing. The OK’s are at their core a duo (Karen- banjo & vocals; Kevin-guitar & vocals) with 3 or 4 talented players rounding out the sound.

It turned out to be a little more complicated than we planned.
I wont get into any details other than saying, the album got done, and nobody died.
On Saturday, October 1st, The Orchid Killers will perform songs from the new CD, The New Civilized at 3:05pm.
We will have refreshments, and offer 10% off all purchases throughout the day.
