New release from the rock icon. Roger Waters, the creative power and songwriting force behind Pink Floyd, presents Is This The Life We Really Want ?, his first rock album in 25 years. The album is produced and mixed by Nigel Godrich (Radiohead, Paul McCartney, Beck, U2), and includes 12 new Roger Waters musical compositions and studio performances. Roger Waters’ last studio album, 1992’s Amused To Death, was a prescient study of popular culture, exploring the power of television in the era of the First Gulf War. This long-awaited follow-up, Is This The Life We Really Want ?, is an unflinching commentary on the modern world and uncertain times, and a natural successor to such classic Pink Floyd albums as Animals and The Wall. Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie Soundtrack
Original soundtrack to the 2017 animated motion picture. Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie soundtrack features the songs from the movie including “Weird Al” Yankovic’s Captain Underpants Theme Song, as well as tracks by Andy Grammar, Adam Lambert, Nathan Willett of Cold War Kids and Lul Yachty. Dan Auerbach: Waiting on a Song
the second solo album from the artist best known as one-half of The Black Keys. The album is the nine-time Grammy-winner’s follow-up to 2009’s Keep It Hid and is a love letter to Nashville. As such, he recruited some of Nashville’s most respected players to write and record his latest, including John Prine, Duane Eddy, Jerry Douglas, Pat McLaughlin and Bobby Wood and Gene Chrisman of the Memphis Boys. Dan Auerbach moved to Nashville from his native Akron, Ohio in 2010 and with this release, his first solo album in eight years, it is clear that he has made Music City his home. During the summer of 2016, taking a break from the non-stop touring he’d done with The Black Keys and the Arcs, he finally got acquainted with the city he loves so much, as well as the world-class musicians who live there, and subsequently collaborated with some of Nashville’s heavyweights. Auerbach wrote seven songs with John Prine, one of which is the title track of the album. Mark Knopfler’s immediately identifiable guitar elevates “Shine on Me” into an anthem. Iconic guitarist Duane Eddy is featured on “Livin’ In Sin” and the cinematic “King of a One Horse Town.”

North Mississippi Allstars: Prayer for Peace

Prayer For Peace, self-produced by the Dickinson Brothers, was recorded across the US at six different studios. Lila Downs: Salon, Lagrimas y Deseo
release from the American-Mexican singer, songwriter and actress. She performs her own compositions and the works of others in multiple genres, as well as tapping into Mexican traditional and popular music. She also incorporates indigenous Mexican influences and has recorded songs in many indigenous languages such as Mixtec, Zapotec, Mayan, Nahuatl and Purépecha. Born and raised in Oaxaca, she primarily studied at the Institute of Arts by Oaxaca and briefly attended University of Minnesota, before withdrawing to focus on her musical career. She soon began performing in the traditional music scene of Oaxaca City.
